Difficulty Level

Tools/Supplies Needed:

• nylon trim tool
• torx screwdriver

Procedure:

• first the door panel will need to be removed in order to access the electrical connector and remove the cap to expose the mounting bolts
• the cap simply pops off from its location using a nylon trim tool
• remove the electrical connector from its location
• then pull the tabs back on the electrical connector and pull apart
• push the rubber grommet through the hole
• remove the three torx bolts
• the mirror base maybe stuck from sitting so a little force will be needed to remove it from its location
• then feed the wiring through the hole
• reinstallation in reverse of removal
